As part of the second term of our ‘From Data to Action: Faculty Meetings’ series, we gathered at the Faculty of Health Sciences on 29 June 2026. During the meeting, faculty performance indicators were discussed in detail, and data-driven strategic action plans were drawn up. Prof. Dr Yeşim Moğulkoç, a member of the academic staff at the Faculty of Engineering, Ankara University, was a guest speaker at an event organised at Hacettepe University as part of the TÜBA University Conferences. In her presentation entitled ‘Next-Generation Two-Dimensional Materials’, Prof. Dr Moğulkoç shared her current scientific research and academic expertise with the participants. The 5th Article Writing Camp, organised by the Ankara University Office of the Dean of Research, was held at ANKARAİM from 11 to 13 May 2026 and attracted considerable interest. This intensive programme, organised with the aim of enhancing our research capacity and supporting the production of high-quality scientific publications, was attended by 43 academics and postgraduate students from our university. We are in İzmir for the "4th Workshop on Priority and Innovative Research” hosted by Dokuz Eylül University At the workshop, which covered a wide range of priority research areas from energy systems to nanotechnology, sustainable agriculture to biotechnology, and molecular biology of cancer to social psychology, young researchers had the opportunity to meet with award-winning scientists in their fields. The tool has been made available to our researchers at Ankara University to accelerate literature search and discovery processes. Prof. Dr. Özlem Atay, a faculty member at the Faculty of Political Sciences, Ankara University, and a member of the Advisory Board of the Women’s Platform Coordination Unit, paid a visit to our Office of the Dean of Research (ARDEK). Developed at the Radiopharmaceutical Application and Research Centre (RÜAG) within our university, ANKÜKOLİN represents our country’s scientific and technological production capacity in the field of nuclear medicine.
