The 5th Article Writing Camp, organised by the Ankara University Office of the Dean of Research, was held at ANKARAİM from 11 to 13 May 2026 and attracted considerable interest. This intensive programme, organised with the aim of enhancing our research capacity and supporting the production of high-quality scientific publications, was attended by 43 academics and postgraduate students from our university.
Over the three-day camp, alongside training sessions, paper presentations and individual work under the guidance of supervisors were carried out. We would like to thank our lecturers for sharing their valuable knowledge and experience with our researchers during the programme:
As part of the camp: Prof. Dr. Ilgaz Akata delivered the “Practical Examples of Scientific Article Writing” training; Prof. Dr. Deha Doğan delivered the “Advanced Statistical Analysis Training”; Prof. Dr. Şakir Çınkır delivered the “Use of Artificial Intelligence in Literature Review and Ethical Issues” and “Selection of High-Impact-Factor Journals”; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Beyza Doğanay delivered a session on “Biostatistical Methods for Different Research Questions”; and Specialist Ezgi Pasin (DataBeeg) delivered a session on “AI-Supported Data Analysis”. Furthermore, as part of the programme’s supervised individual study sessions, Prof. Dr. Kenan Köse, Prof. Dr. Atilla Halil Elhan and Research Assistant İrem Kar provided one-to-one support to our participants through desk-side training sessions.”
