As part of the Başt’Ankara Training Program organized by the Technology Transfer Office and the In-Service Training Coordination Unit for our new academic staff who have recently joined the Ankara University family, we addressed key topics relating to research, project development and our university’s academic support mechanisms.

Our program began with an opening address by our Rector, Prof. Dr Necdet Ünüvar. In his opening remarks, he shared his views on our university’s vision for scientific output, research culture and academic development, whilst emphasising the important role our new academics will play in this process.

Throughout the event, representatives from the Technology Transfer Office, the Scientific Research Projects Coordination Unit, the Office of the Dean of Research, the Research Projects Support Office and the EU Education Programmes Coordination Office provided comprehensive information on project funding, intellectual and industrial property rights, university-industry collaborations, entrepreneurial activities, scientific research processes, national and international funding sources, and the institutional support mechanisms available to researchers.

We would like to thank all our academics who joined us at the start of their academic journey for their interest and contributions, and we wish them every success in their teaching, research and project work at Ankara University.
