The Virtual Centre Laboratory (LAB-SİS) software training was held on 20 December 2024 under the coordination of the Office of the Dean of Research. The training  was organized by Dr. Arda Büyüksungur, an academic member of  the Faculty of Dentistry, and was attended by academic department coordinators. The training session, conducted by Lecturer Enver Bağcı, was concluded with a Q&A session, during which unit coordinators’ questions were addressed, and ideas and suggestions for improving the system were shared. Ankara University’s Office of the Dean of Research convened with Kırşehir Ahi Devran University in an online meeting. In the meeting, Ankara University’s achievements in research and its experiences in this field were shared. Relevant departments from both universities participated in the online meeting. The preparatory meeting for Ankara University Integrated Research Centre (BÜTAM) was held on December 18, 2024, coordinated by the Office of the Dean of Research. Research and Application Centers and their Institute Directors participated in the meeting, which was chaired by the Vice Rector responsible for research and the Dean of Research, Prof. Dr. Kaan Orhan. QS, one of the world's leading ranking organizations, has announced the 2025 World Sustainability Rankings. Using a specialized methodology developed to measure universities’ capacity to tackle environmental, social, and governance issues, the studies of 1,744 universities worldwide in these fields are analyzed by the institution. Ankara University achieved a significant milestone in the 2025 QS World Universities Sustainability Rankings, rising from the 941–960 range to 486th place. Ranking 6th among the 36 universities from Turkey included in the list, Ankara University also became the university with the most improved performance among Turkish universities.
