Ankara University’s Success in QS European Universities Rankings Ankara University ranked 9th in Türkiye and 264th in the world in the QS European Universities 2025 Rankings. Ankara University rose from 289th to 264th place in the world in the “2024 QS European Universities” rankings compared to the previous year. 2023 Impact Factor Ratios of the Journals that are Indexed on the Web of Science were Published. Engineering Science and Technology-An International Journal-JESTECH, with a ratio of 5.1, became the highest Impact Factor ratio Turkish Journal. The Impact Factor ratios of 259 Türkiye based journals increased, and 102 journals experienced a decrease. Seven journals that are published by Ankara University were listed. Under the coordination of Ankara University Technology Transfer Office, the “Başt’Ankara Training Program” was held on June 7, 2024, at Ankara University Faculty of Pharmacy. In the training program, 231 Academics who started their studies within the last 2 years attended. Academics were informed regarding the research infrastructure of Ankara University for their studies to be steered in the right direction. QS 2025 World University Rankings were Announced. QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) is an international institution that ranks higher education institutions according to certain parameters globally and locally. Currently, QS is the only ranking institution that emphasizes employment and sustainability, with its ranking involving 1.500 universities from 104 countries. Ankara University in the QS 2025 World Ranking, leaving more than 400 universities in 2023 and 150 universities in 2024 behind, has risen to 801st place, becoming one of the Top 1000 universities. The subsequent occurrence of the “1st Scientific Article Writing Camp” which was organized under the Office of the Dean of Research and held in our University’s Ilgaz ÖRSEM Facilities, took place in Kızılcahamam on May 18-19, 2024.During the camp, which lasted for two days, studies that started in Ilgaz ÖRSEM Facilities were concluded. Within the scope of the works of the Dean’s Office of Research, Vice-Deans of Research Prof. Dr. Aytuğ Okumuş and Prof. Dr. Ebru Onbaşılar, and Research Projects Support Office Coordinator Lecturer Özge Nur Toprak, visited the Turkish Standards Institute. After the talks regarding cooperation opportunities with TSE Deputy General Secretary İlhami Aktürk, the Head of the Department of Education Feyzullah Erdoğan, and the Head of the Documentation Ömer Eyyüpoğlu, discussions were made regarding future agenda.
