Under the coordination of Ankara University Technology Transfer Office, the “Başt’Ankara Training Program” was held on June 7, 2024, at Ankara University Faculty of Pharmacy. QS 2025 World University Rankings were Announced. QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) is an international institution that ranks higher education institutions according to certain parameters globally and locally. Currently, QS is the only ranking institution that emphasizes employment and sustainability, with its ranking involving 1.500 universities from 104 countries. The subsequent occurrence of the “1st Scientific Article Writing Camp” which was organized under the Office of the Dean of Research and held in our University’s Ilgaz ÖRSEM Facilities, took place in Kızılcahamam on May 18-19, 2024.During the camp, which lasted for two days, studies that started in Ilgaz ÖRSEM Facilities were concluded. Within the scope of the works of the Dean’s Office of Research, Vice-Deans of Research Prof. Dr. Aytuğ Okumuş and Prof. Dr. Ebru Onbaşılar, and Research Projects Support Office Coordinator Lecturer Özge Nur Toprak, visited the Turkish Standards Institute. One of the leading ranking institutions, Times Higher Education (THE), has announced the 2024 Asian Universities rankings.
Times Higher Education (THE) evaluates the institutions, research based universities, based on performance indicators that are categorized into five fields, namely, research environment, research quality, international visage, and industry. According to the 2024 ranking results of the evaluating institution, which evaluates Asian Universities with performance indicators that rose from 13 to 18, Ankara University is ranked between 501-600. According to QS 2024 World Universities field based rankings, our country was ranked with 39 fields in a total of 55 fields, and Ankara University was ranked with 9 fields. Divinity and Agriculture/Forestry, being within the range of 51-100 and 201-250, respectively, showed the best performances.
