Ankara University Integrated Research and Technology Centre (BÜTAM) commenced its activities on 27 January 2026 with a program that saw strong participation from academic staff. As part of the program, Prof. Dr. Orhan Aydın, who visited the university, presented current performance analyses and project outputs related to Ankara University’s research ecosystem.

The program, attended by numerous researchers from the university administration and relevant academic units, addressed current data on research projects, scientific performance indicators and projections regarding support processes. In light of the data presented, BÜTAM’s strategic role in the new period and its alignment with national research objectives were evaluated from a technical perspective.

Within the scope of the programme, the centre’s technical capacity and infrastructure capabilities were reviewed by the participating delegation and academics. Within the framework of the analyses presented, mutual views were exchanged on possible models for inter-institutional cooperation. It is anticipated that BÜTAM will contribute to the general objectives of developing the research ecosystem and enhancing scientific performance, in light of its technical equipment and the data provided.
