Our work on the “Ankara University Digital Software Training Platform” continues

As Ankara University Office of the Dean of Research, in collaboration with our Digital Education Coordination Office we are continuing our preparations for a new platform that will support all our members on their research projects. This digital guide will consolidate all paths to educational resources for software, frequently used in research into a single hub. The platform which will offer 24/7 access aims to save time by facilitating access to accurate information. We will continue to provide you with updates on the developments.

Reflection and Resolution Conference

The Reflection and Resolution Conference Global Strategies and Roadmap was organized by the Office of the Dean of Research for the first time between September 1–5, 2025, at Didim ÖRSEM Facilities, and the conference became a significant platform where Ankara University’s international vision was shaped. With the participation of 10 international advisors and 50 researchers from the Czech Republic, Italy, Germany, Poland, Norway, Canada, and the United States, the conference comprehensively addressed the University’s future roadmap within the axes of Research, Education, Societal Contribution, and Internationalization. Scientific Article and Project Writing Camp

The Office of the Dean of Research continues to foster academic productivity through the Scientific Article Writing Camp and the Project Writing Camp, held between September 1–5, 2025, at Didim ÖRSEM Facilities. The Article Writing Camp, attended by 48 faculty members, aimed to enhance the quality of scientific publications, while the Project Writing Camp, which brought together academics from 25 different disciplines, strengthened collaboration and project development capacity for TÜBİTAK and European Union projects. These comprehensive events contributed to reinforcing Ankara University’s research-oriented vision and supported its efforts to achieve a stronger position in the international academic arena.

Collaboration with Technological University Dublin

Within the scope of the European Excellence Initiative (EEI) project, our Vice Rector and Dean of Research, Prof. Dr. Kaan Orhan, held a productive meeting with Dr. Brendan Jennings, Vice President of Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin), on August 21, 2025. During this important meeting, the strategic action plans of our project were shaped, leading to significant progress. The Office of the Dean of Research Digital Training Process Begins

As the Office of the Dean of Research, we took the first step toward transitioning to the digital education process by coming together with our external partners from whom we receive software services. Within the scope of this collaboration, we set out the roadmap for our future software-supported digital education initiatives, aiming to increase our research capacity and make the software we use accessible to wider audiences.
