The first “Ankara University Awards Ceremony” held by the Rector’s Office took place at ATO Congressium on January 30, 2024. At the ceremony, the Director of COHE, Erol ÖZVAR, the Rectors of Universities, and the representatives of the Public-Private Sectors and media institutions attended. Under the Dean’s Office of Research, the “Interactive Coffee Day Interdisciplinary Studies Under One Roof - 4” event was held on January 30, 2024, with the Faculty of Educational Sciences as the host. On January 18, 2024, a collaborative meeting was held between the Research Deanery of our university and the TEKNOFEST and Competitions Coordination. The meeting, attended by members of the Ankara University Research Deanery and the Coordinator of TEKNOFEST and Competitions, Prof. Dr. Şebnem BUDAK, addressed the common areas of collaboration between the two units and discussed future collaborative activities. We express our gratitude to the TEKNOFEST and Competitions Coordination for their collaboration.

Dean’s Office of Research, Dean and Vice-Deans visiting COHE Department of Project Improvement and Support on December 25, 2023, made dialogues regarding Research Universities ranking studies. The Ranking of Research Universities and analysis studies being shared mutually according to the common criterion that were designated, the fields open to cooperation on the route were designated. We thank to Department of Project Improvement and Support Coordinator Ayşegül Kutay Gündoğan and her team for their hospitality.

Araştırma Dekanlığımız bünyesinde, Araştırma Projeleri Destek Ofisi Koordinatörümüz Öğr.Gör. Özge Nur KANAT ve TÜBİTAK ERC Uzmanı Aslı VURAL 21.12.2023 tarihinde görüş ve bilgilendirme toplantısı gerçekleştirdi. Toplantıda, “ERC Programının Kurumsal ve Stratejik İş Birlikleri” hakkında görüş alış verişinde bulunuldu ve ilerleyen süreçler için yol haritası oluşturuldu. İş Birlikleri için TÜBİTAK’a teşekkür ederiz.

Around 70 scientists from Ankara University attended the tour held under our Dean’s Office. The guiding was done by the retired academic member of the Ankara University Faculty of Dentistry, Prof. Dr. Dr. Aykut MISIRLIGİL. While touring the historical and touristic spots of the region, the gathering of academics from various disciplines was ensured. We are grateful to all the scientists who attended.

Tokyo University Vice-President, Nuclear Engineering and Management Department Lecturer Prof. Dr. Naoto SEKIMURA and delegation accompanying him attended the meeting as invited speakers. Prof. Dr. Naoto SEKIMURA, in his speech, presented Tokyo University and its international strategies. SEKIMURA, made his panel speech on “Current Status of Nuclear Power Plants and Human Capacity Building in Japan”. One of the speakers at the congress Ankara University Assoc.
