Turkey’s first and only aviation, space, and technology festival, TEKNOFEST, was held in Adana this year.
This year, four teams of Ankara University reached the finals at TEKNOFEST, where students participated with various projects. The “ANKÜ-CAN” team, established within the Institute of Nuclear Sciences, competed in the nuclear instrumentation and control system category of the Nuclear Energy Technologies Design Contest, which was held for the first time this year. The team won first place in the Nuclear Energy Technologies category with their project titled “Development of Neutron/Gamma Measurement System for Use in Micro Modular and Small Modular Reactors,” bringing Ankara University a win at the TEKNOFEST competition.
We would like to congratulate academics and students who contributed to this achievement.
