Ankara University shared information and experiences on its visit to Bursa Uludağ University on January 11–12, 2025, as part of its ongoing commitment to fostering collaboration with institutions and organizations. The meeting, hosted by Bursa Uludağ University Rector Prof. Dr. Ferudun Yılmaz, was attended by the Rector of Ankara University Prof. Dr. Necdet Ünüvar, Vice Rector and Dean of Research, Prof. Dr. Kaan Orhan, and an accompanying delegation.
On the first day of the meeting, participants from Ankara University delivered various presentations. Vice Rector and the Dean of Research, Prof. Dr. Kaan Orhan, gave a presentation titled “The Activities of the Office of the Dean of Research at Ankara University,” while Research Projects Support Office Coordinator, Lect. Özge Nur Toprak, presented “What Does the Ankara University Research Projects Support Office Coordinatiorship Do?”
On the second day of the meeting, the Technology Transfer Office Coordinator and Vice Dean of Research, Prof. Dr. Aytuğ Okumuş, gave the presentation titled “Support Provided by the Technology Transfer Office Coordinatorship” and Vice Dean of Research, Prof. Dr. E. Ebru Onbaşılar delivered the presentation titled “Analyses Conducted by the Office of the Dean of Research and Their Contribution to Strategy Development.” Scientific Research Projects Coordinator, Prof. Dr. Necmettin Ünal, presented “The Projects Processes of the Scientific Research Projects Coordinatorship” and Vice Rector and the Dean of Research, Prof. Dr. Kaan Orhan, gave the presentation titled “Workshop Activities.” Finally, Lecturer Evrim Ağaçdelen from the Office of the Dean of Research presented “Comparative Analysis of Field-Based Indicators.” The meeting, also attended by the Director of Ankara University Institute of Forensic Sciences, Prof. Dr. Nebile Dağlıoğlu, concluded with a Q&A session after the presentations.
Representatives from both institutions emphasized the importance of continuing such mutual information-sharing and collaboration meetings and expressed their hopes for developing joint projects in the future. The meeting concluded with a shared wish to strengthen the spirit of collaboration and solidarity.
