Our esteemed scientist Prof. Dr. Hatice Duran Yıldız has been awarded the 20205 Fundamental Physics Breakthrough Prize which is considered one of the most prestigious awards in the scientific world.

Our professor, who achieved this great success together with her colleagues in the ATLAS Experiment at CERN’s Large Hadron Collider, has made our country proud internationally with her work that has enlightens the secrets of the universe. She earned this award for her groundbreaking research on topics such as the Higgs boson, the matter-antimatter asymmetry, and the discovery of new particles.
