Vice Rector and Dean of Research of Ankara University, Prof. Dr. Kaan Orhan, participated in the Global Artificial Intelligence Forum organized in collaboration with Times Higher Education (THE) and Hong Kong Polytechnic University. The forum was held with the title “Higher Education in the Era of Artificial Intelligence” and engaged in detailed discussions on how future advancements in artificial intelligence will shape higher education systems. During the event, opportunities for collaboration and study were discussed concerning the impacts of artificial intelligence technologies on education, research and university management within the next five years. The forum, attended by numerous universities from around the world, facilitated the exchange of knowledge and experiences among participants.

A total of 25 prominent universities from countries such as Canada, England, Australia, New Zealand, China, Japan, Hong Kong, Egypt, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Scotland, Singapore, Kenya, Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia, and the Philippines, participated in the forum. Ankara University was the only representative of Turkey.

Ankara University’s presence on this prestigious platform once again demonstrated the University’s academic impact on a global level and its commitment to innovative studies. Prof. Dr. Kaan Orhan’s views and contributions on the effects of artificial intelligence on higher education received great attention.
